Contact the Clerk of Superior Court office in the appropriate county for questions and information about
  • Court
  • Court records (including divorce decrees)
  • Case information
  • Forms
  • Jury duty
  • Payments
  • Etc.

If you were attempting to pay or find your citation but your citation is not listed, please check your citation number and make sure you entered the citation number correctly. If you don't know or can't find your citation number, you may search citations by name.

There are several reasons your citation might not appear even if you entered it correctly. Your citation may:
  • Require a court appearance
  • Not have been entered into the system yet (can take 24-48 hours from the time your citation was issued)
  • Not be payable online
  • Data entry error
If you choose to pay the citation, the website is provided as an alternative method to a payment in person or via mail. If the website is not available, it remains your responsibility to make timely payments to the courthouse or appear in court as noted in the citation. See the Traffic Violations Help Topic for more information.

You may direct questions about your citation, or find other payment options, to the Clerk of Superior Court office in the county in which the citation was issued.

The N.C. courts do not allow international network traffic on the online services network. If you are able to log into a Virtual Private Network (VPN) that is located inside the U.S, you should be able to access our Citation Services page directly.

If you choose to pay the citation, the website is provided as an alternative method to a payment in person or via mail. If the website is not available, it remains your responsibility to make timely payments to the courthouse or appear in court as noted in the citation. See the Traffic Violations Help Topic for more information.

Statewide Court Forms
Most forms used throughout the Judicial Branch are available on the website. You may search statewide court forms by keyword, form number, statute, or subject. Try to broaden your search by using a keyword(s) instead of a long specific phrase. See a helpful video available for explaining how to search for forms

Local Forms
Are you looking for local forms? District- or county-specific local forms (and rules) may be searched by keyword, court, or county. You may also find local forms on the county pages.

You may direct questions about forms to the Clerk of Superior Court office in the appropriate county.

Previous district or superior court dockets would be available through the county's courthouse. Please contact the Clerk of Superior Court office in the appropriate county.

You may find Court of Appeals and Supreme Court dockets on the website.
