Chief Justice Martin Appoints Chief District Court Judges for Districts 11 and 20A

Judge Jacquelyn Lee to Chief District Court Judge for Judicial District 11

Chief Justice Mark Martin has appointed Judge Jacquelyn Lee as chief district court judge for Judicial District 11, effective January 1, 2015.

Judge Lee will succeed current Chief District Court Judge Andy Corbett, who is retiring. District 11 includes Harnett, Johnston, and Lee counties.

Judge Lee has served as a district court judge since 2000. She was a private attorney prior to being elected, and graduated from Norman Adrian Wiggins School of Law (also known as Campbell Law School) in 1991.

Judge William Tucker to Chief District Court Judge for Judicial District 20A

Chief Justice Mark Martin has appointed Judge William Tucker as chief district court judge for the new Judicial District 20A (Stanly County), effective January 1, 2015.

Judge Tucker has served as a district court judge since 2009. He was a private attorney prior to being elected, and graduated from Wake Forest University School of Law in 1974.
