Governor Cooper Announces Judicial Appointments to Districts 8, 18 and 29B
Governor Roy Cooper has announced the following judicial appointments to Districts 8, 18 and 29B.

Governor Roy Cooper has announced the following appointments:

District Court Judge Lora Cubbage as Superior Court Judge in District 18 (Guilford County). Judge Cubbage will fill the vacancy of Judge Patrice Hinnant, who retired.

C.W. “Mack” McKeller as District Court Judge in District 29B (Henderson, Polk, and Transylvania counties). McKeller will fill the vacancy of Chief District Court Judge Athena Fox Brooks, who was appointed as special superior court judge earlier this year.

Annette Turik as District Court Judge in District 8 (Greene, Lenoir, and Wayne counties). Turik will fill the vacancy of Chief District Court R. Les Turner.
