Governor Cooper Makes Judicial Appointment in Superior Court District 20B
Chief District Court Judge Nathan Hunt Gwyn Jr. appointed as superior court judge in Judicial District 20B (Union County).

Governor Roy Cooper has appointed Judge Nathan Hunt Gwyn Jr. as superior court judge in Judicial District 20B (Union County). He will fill the vacancy created by the retirement of Senior Resident Superior Court Judge Christopher Bragg.
Gwyn has served as Chief District Court Judge since 2011, and previously as District, Family, & Juvenile Court Judge for District 20B; Senior Assistant District Attorney for Union, Anson, Richmond, and Stanly Counties; and Assistant District Attorney for Union, Anson, Richmond, Stanly, and Moore Counties.
