LifeLock or Other Record-Checking Service Alerts

Alerts don't necessarily reflect any recent activity in your name or may include resolved court cases. Contact your county courthouse.

Article contents

If you are a subscriber to LifeLock or other private identity record-checking service, you may have recently received an alert concerning information found in a source named North Carolina Administrative Office of Courts demographic index. The cited source is data that the NCAOC provides to private record-checking vendors, such as LifeLock, but the alert does not necessarily reflect any recent activity in your name or may include resolved court cases. Alerts to subscribers may be for any case that the subscriber may have had in the records of the courts of North Carolina, regardless of how old.

If you have questions about your case, you should first contact your service provider to determine the county in which the case occurred, and then contact the clerk of superior court office in that county for more information. Visit NCcourts.gov/locations for county contact information.
