Children and their families will be recognized for their adoption on National Adoption Day on Saturday, November 21, at 10:00 a.m.

All sessions of district court will take place as scheduled.

The courthouse and clerk’s office remain open to the public.

The clerk of superior court’s office will be open from 8:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. with limited staffing.

Court officials have been in communication with Orange County Public Health officials to coordinate the appropriate response.

The new policy is being implemented to help protect the public and staff from the risk of COVID-19.

Today’s order also allows jury trials to resume in districts with an approved Jury Trial Resumption Plan.
