The late North Carolina Court of Appeals Judge Maurice Braswell shared experiences as a B-17 tail gunner and POW in World War II.

Prior restrictions on public attendance at in-person oral arguments will be lifted. The Court will continue to livestream arguments online.

The Appellate Mediation Project was established in 2002.  

The Court’s order was adopted on October 13, 2021, and is applicable to cases that are appealed on or after January 1, 2022.

The North Carolina Court of Appeals has named Jonathan Harris as its general counsel effective October 7.

Only parties and attorneys directly involved in the cases being argued will be allowed to enter the building to attend the arguments.
