Governor Roy Cooper appointed two new district court Judges to serve Guilford and Wake counties. 

Three district court judges have been appointed to serve in Mecklenburg, Forsyth, and Orange and Chatham Counties.

District Court Judge Debra S. Sasser will succeed Chief District Court Judge Robert B. Rader upon his retirement.

The appointments fill vacancies left by retirements in Judicial Districts 20A, 27B, and 15B.

The two new judicial appointments will serve Bladen, Brunswick, Columbus, McDowell, and Rutherford counties.

The BHTC combines court supervision with mental health treatment.
