Governor Cooper Appoints Superior Court Judge and District Attorney in District 22

Jason Ramey is appointed as superior court judge and Katy Gregg as district attorney in District 22 (Caswell and Rockingham counties).

Governor Roy Cooper has announced the following appointments:

Jason Ramey has been appointed to serve as superior court judge in Judicial District 22 (Caswell and Rockingham counties). Ramey will fill the vacancy of Judge Stanley L. Allen. He currently serves as the district attorney in Prosecutorial District 22, and previously served in District 17A. Ramey received his Bachelor of Arts from Pensacola Christian College and his Juris Doctor from Wake Forest University School of Law.

Katy L. Gregg has been appointed to serve as district attorney in Prosecutorial District 22 (Caswell and Rockingham counties). Gregg will fill the vacancy of current District Attorney Jason Ramey’s appointment to superior court. She currently serves as an assistant district attorney in District 22. Gregg received her Bachelor of Science from High Point University and her Juris Doctor from Appalachian School of Law.
