16 Hour Supplemental Training for MSC Certification

The following trainers provide the 16-hour supplemental training program for superior court mediator certification.

The following 16-hour supplemental mediator training courses are approved under MSC Rule 8.A for superior court (MSC) mediator certification. This course is intended for applicants who have already completed a 40-hour Family Financial Settlement (FFS) course and are either FFS certified or have met all the requirements for such certification. This course may also be taken by applicants for MSC certification who have completed mediator training in another State and been advised by Commission staff that they need complete only a supplemental (16-hour) course on MSC/FFS program rules, N.C. Standards of Conduct, and take an exam on those materials in lieu of completing a full 40-hour course.
