DCC Rules and Statute
The Rules of Mediation for Matters in District Criminal Court were revised by the Supreme Court of North Carolina on January 23, 2020, pursuant to N.C. Gen. Stat. § 7A-38.3D. The Rules provide a framework for expediting settlement of matters referred to mediation by District Attorneys. The effective date of these Rules is May 1, 2023.
