Summary
These reports examine the effect of the JRA on sentencing practices and correctional practices – both in community supervision and incarceration (in prisons and local jails). The reports highlight JRA-related legislation, policies and practices under the law, and data examining the usage of JRA tools and preliminary outcomes under the JRA. Information for the report comes from updates provided by agencies at meetings of the Commission’s Justice Reinvestment Implementation Report Subcommittee, from agency and organizational reports submitted to the Legislature, and from data collected by agencies.
