Unless you are required to appear in-person to conduct your business, attorneys and the public will not be allowed into the Mecklenburg County Courthouse and should use email and telephone to communicate with staff. Courtroom 1130 will not operate. All matters scheduled for this courtroom will be continued and rescheduled. Weddings will be conducted by appointment only Monday through Friday, from 2:00 until 4:00 p.m. at the Mecklenburg County Courthouse. Appointments must be made via email at Mecklenburg.Magistrate.Weddings@nccourts.org. The Mecklenburg County Clerk of Superior Court’s Office will be open to the public between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. (noon), Monday through Friday.
