Governor Cooper Announces Judicial Appointment to District 9
Governor Roy Cooper has announced the following judicial appointment as district court judge in District 9.

Governor Roy Cooper has appointed Katherine (Kat) Burnette as district court judge in District 9 (Franklin, Granville, Vance, and Warren counties). She replaces Judge Carolyn J. Thompson, who was appointed to superior court judge earlier this year.
