Course DescriptionUnderstanding Guardianship outlines the role and responsibilities of guardians of the person, guardians of the estate, and general guardians. The content is useful as an educational tool for people who are considering guardianship, as well as, for those who are newly appointed guardians.

Angela D. Lassiter, Executive Director of Guardian Advocacy, Inc., has been teaching a live class on the last Friday of every month for newly appointed guardians in Wake County on a pro bono basis. In this 26 minute video, Angela shares her class content in a condensed format to efficiently and effectively reach many potential and new guardians who are not able to attend the live class.
